September 2, 2005 - At 1806 hours, Engine 10 along with other neighboring companies was alerted to a reported fire in the service department of Richmond Harley-Davidson located at 10441 Washington Highway. Engine 1 arrived on scene, side “C” and encountered smoke from the service department bay door.  Several handlines were utilized and the fire was quickly extinguished. 

The incident is currently under investigation by the Hanover County Fire Marshal's Office.

Units: Engine 10, Engine 1, Engine 1-2, Engine 6, Engine 5, Engine 11, Truck 1, Tanker 11, Air Utility 5, Squad 1, multiple EMS, administrative and support units.
